The Anderson Power Pipe® is the ultimate solution for Mustang 5.0 owners looking to boost their engine's performance with the use of centrifugal superchargers like Vortech, S, T, YSI Trims, Paxton Novi 2000, and Powerdyne. With its mandrel-bent aluminum construction, it provides the highest possible airflow to the engine, which results in improved performance and cooler intake charges.
This product has been thoroughly tested and has been shown to flow at a rate of 1235 cubic feet per minute at 20.4 inches of water, as verified on our Super Flow 1200 flow bench. Anderson Power Pipe® was created to meet the demand of supercharger systems that require more air volume and CFM when generating 10 lbs of boost or more.
Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords tested the Anderson Power Pipe® on two different Mustang 5.0 vehicles, and the results were impressive. The first car (with minor modifications) saw an increase from 10 lbs of boost to 14 lbs of boost, and it resulted in a 2 tenths improvement in acceleration and a 4 mph increase in top speed at the strip. The second car (with major modifications) went from 16 lbs of boost to 19 lbs of boost, and the results were an increase of 38 horsepower at the rear wheels, a .023 improvement in acceleration and a 1.5 mph increase in top speed at the strip.
All Anderson Power Pipe® products have been tested and have been shown to flow at a rate of 1200 cfm or more on our Superflow 1200 Flow Bench. This product is compatible with ProM 80mm/92mm, SCT BA2600/3000, and PMAS 80/90mm mass air meters.
