SCT X4 7015 and 7015PEO - What is the difference?

So, what is the difference between the SCT X4 7015 and 7015PEO? In a nutshell, the 7015PEO is 50 state CARB compliant. It includes a limited set of preloaded tunes (as of today 7/2/2023)
The Carb EO preloaded tunes on the #7015PEO currently include:
- 2015-2020 Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost
- 2015-2016 Mustang 3.7 V6 NA
The 7015 is the one you're all familiar with that includes preloaded tunes for 1996-2019+ Mustangs as follows:
- 1996 - 2004 Mustang 3.8L V6
- 1996 - 2004 Mustang 4.6L V8
- 2004 - 2004 Mustang 3.9L V6
- 2005 - 2010 Mustang 4.0L V6 SOHC
- 2005 - 2010 Mustang 4.6L 3V
- 2011 - 2014 Mustang 3.7L V6
- 2011 - 2014 Mustang 5.0L TiVCT
- 2015 - 2016 Mustang 3.7L TiVCT
- 2015 - 2019 Mustang 5.0L TiVCT
- 2015 - 2019 Mustang 2.3L Eco GTDI
- 2012 - 2013 Mustang Boss 5.0L TiVCT
- 1996 - 2004 Mustang Cobra 4.6L V8
- 2016 - 2018 Mustang GT350 5.2L TiVCT
- 2007 - 2014 Mustang GT500 5.4L V8
- 2003 - 2004 Mustang Mach 1 4.6L V8
One thing to note is either tuner supports custom tunes from your favorite Custom Tuner out there so, if you're expecting to go with a Custom Tune, it really doesn't matter which one you choose.
