Eibach's SuperLite Drag Race Springs are the perfect upgrade for drag racers looking to maximize traction and launch performance. The front coil is longer, storing more energy to lift the front of the car during launch and aid in weight transfer to the rear tires. Additionally, the right rear spring features a progressive coil design that reduces the effects of axle torque and helps keep the right rear tire planted to the ground. These springs are specifically tuned for improved traction at the strip while maintaining acceptable handling on the street.
Compared to factory springs, ride height is similar, but because the SuperLite Drag Race Springs are softer, ride height may be more affected by the weight of the vehicle. Full-weight street cars can expect a slight lowering of 1/4 to 1/2 inch, while light-weight race cars may sit slightly higher. With the ability to fine-tune the air pressure inside the airbag, straighter launches are achievable.
