The 4 chamber technology in UPR catch cans captures and filters all the oil vapor and trash from getting into your air intake tract. This kit also has the option to add the UPR CSS - Clean Side Separator for the Driver side of the PCV system to make sure you are fully protected at both ends of the PCV system. This UPR catch can kit is 100% ready to install with no add ons. The upgrades allow you to custom tailor the kit to your needs if you like. The description for the upgrades are below:
UPR Billet Check Valve: The check valve ensures that airflow only moves in one direction. It will increase the vacuum through the catch can and deliver better crankcase evacuation. The improved crankcase evacuation translates to increased MPG and more responsive low speed drivability. The arrow printed on the check valve will always need to face away from the catch can.
UPR CSS - Clean Side Separator for the Driver side of the PCV system to make sure you are fully protected at both ends of the PCV system. (Great protection and ideal for all driving situations). The Clean Side Separator allows fresh, filtered air from the air filter box or inlet tube to enter the crank case as the factory intended, but will separate oil vapor and keep it from exiting the clean side when crankcase pressure is high. Once normal driving resumes, the air entering the engine will pull the oil mist back in.
