No power adder company takes the 4.6L 3V powerplant to the next level of performance like Vortech. For over 30 years, we have demonstrated our product leadership with our wide range of super-efficient centrifugal superchargers. From complete, 50-State emissions-legal Standard Output and High Output Systems, to full-blown 1,200+ horsepower race setups, Vortech has you covered.
COMPLETE SYSTEM
462HP - The complete system will boost your stock 4.6 GT to 462HP and 419 LB/FT Torque with 10 PSI from the V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger at factory redline using CA 91 Octane fuel.
Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the Manual and Automatic Transmission 2007-2008 4.6L 3V Mustang GT, featuring the V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger with air-to-water charge cooler.
The S197 Mustang GT systems utilize the ultra-efficient V-3 Si-Trim compressor. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 Si model, which reaches a peak efficiency of 78% (SAE J1723 standard). The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this V-3 Si-Trim literally blows away the competition. High efficiency equates to less heat being generated, a reduction in power required to drive the compressor, and more net power being produced as a result. Less heat also equates to superior durability. Also, Vortech's supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.
All V-3 series superchargers have a self-contained lubrication system that makes installation fast and easy.
Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decrease.
